When it comes to multimedia app design, It doesn’t get any better that PodRadio. This was one of my favourite themes to work with.
iPad App Design Template
This template is designed to for your iPad apps as well your iPhone app. There are two Photoshop PSD files for both devices and a Universal sample project that runs on both iPad and iPhone
Black leather design
The navigation bar has a sleek black leather feel that makes it indistinguishable from your wallet. So much so it makes your users want to grab their wallets and pay for your app:-)… Bad joke?….. But seriously, that design is to die for. The sample project included in the download shows you how to apply the design element in all the navigation bars in your app.
Live apps using Podradio
I came across App Design Vault after going through hundreds of sites while I was looking for a stitched leather texture for my app.
And am I glad I did! Not only do their themes look great, the .psd files that come with the themes are invaluable if you’re interested in customizing the themes or using only parts of them as I did.
It’s amazing how much detail their designer(s) have put into these themes. Customer support was superb too when I needed a different sized texture. I highly recommend App Design Vault themes!

Picture thumbnail with Time icon
PodRadio also features a Table list view with each cell having a thumbnail with a rounded frame. Each cell also has an icon that depicts time and can is used to adorn the duration of the track this case. In your app it can be used to depict time, an appointment date or something else. You are only limited by your imagination, friend.
Multimedia Icons
What is a multimedia app without the play and the pause buttons? Well, with PodRadio you have got not just those two but rewind, forward, shuffle buttons too. And check them out, they glow in the dark. Included in your download are design elements for both red (normal) and gray (selected) states.
Large thumbnail with lots of detail.
On the detail view, you have the option of using a large photo thumbnail that looks like it is burned into the leather. The design element included in your download allows you have two sections, one for the caption of the image and another for the image itself. The sample XCode project already implements this for you so all you need to do is run it and modify the label and images to show your own data.
Multi colour leather buttons
Some UI elements just make you smile and this is one of them. These buttons add so much depth to your app, when your users see and touch it, they will appreciate the amount of effort you put in designing them.
Just don’t tell them you didn’t do it yourself. Why would you kill the illusion and say you downloaded a theme and all you had to do was change the text on the buttons and voila, you had a leather button in your app.

There is a new theme coming up called Prolific that will include a design for UISegmentedControl…. UIPickerView is going to be a little tricky
How does this app connect to music? Is there more documentation?
The template doesn’t connect to any music source, it is a design template and not a fully functioning app
