More Features

Wood is the new design element of 2012. Photoly helps you bring your app into the new age. Photoly is a photography app template that can be used for any app that needs to show lots of images.

The navigation bar looks like it was chiseled off your dining table at home. :-) . It has a solid dark oak colour with a lighter shade for the UIBarButton Items on the bar. This same design can be used for your Toolbars.

Photo thumbnails

The theme has a Table list with framed photos in each cell. This can be used to display holiday pictures, profile pictures, recipe dishes or whatever you may want. Each ell in the list has a 3d effect because of the drop shadow and the sample project that is included shows you how to style and design each list item.

Large photo frame display.

There is a large photo frame display on the detail page. Here you can show larger versions of your pictures in a white frame. If you want a different colour for the frame and if you are brave enough, you can tweak the included Photoshop PSD file to modify the colours. It has got tons of layers so each design element can be swapped in and out.

Social Buttons

What is an app if the user cannot share it with his friends. Social buttons are built into the design so you can increase the viral potential if your app. There are two buttons, one for twitter and another for Facebook.

Lifetime Guarantee

Love Photoly? With all themes, you get a lifetime money-back guarantee so there is no reason not to try it out. Click below to buy the theme.

    Hi Tope,

Thank you for the photoly theme. I just published a word search iPad app. Your theme works great for the new iPad (iPad 3)
Here is the app’s link http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/word.search/id529030046?mt=8
And here is the video trailer link http://youtu.be/Bkj0IPomBfw

I hope that it can help potential buyers to see how the theme looks like on the iPad 3
In addition, I developed the apps with the Corona SDK and I edited your Photoshop file to embed my company logo.

    Cheers,

    Vito

    Hi Tope,

Now that this theme is iPad compatible, would it have this same feature as Foodly?:
“iPad and iPhone Universal App Template”

Also, you should update the demo pictures above to reflect iPad changes (just some friendly advice). Thanks.

Is it possible to update the icon to 1024×1024. In July Apple states that the icons have to be this size for iOS 6 i believe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get an app in the store next month for iphone and ipad.

How do I use the switch-on / switch-off images? (switch-on.png and switch-off.png). I didn’t see these used in the Sample project.

It doesn’t look there is a built-in Customization API (similar to toolbars / navigation bars) – to globally set these.

    That would be awesome!

    Tope:

The sample project does not work! It’s missing the storyboard files for both iPhone and iPad and it is missing the header file UIImage+iPhone5.h

    Can you please fix?

      Hey Keith,

I have checked the project and it seems to be fine, but I anyway updated the .zip on the server, so please go ahead and download it again.

      Happy coding,
      Valentin.
