More details
The main screen has a search functionality. The screens moves up and downs to accommodate the keyboard. On clicking the search button, the app shows a list of sample ATM’s. These are designed using custom UITableViewCells that have a title, address and distance to the location.
There are also fields above the UITableView to show the nearest and furthest locations.
The map view shows an annotation on a Map with the location of the selected POI. The details of the selected location is shown below the map.
On the iPad version, there is one screen with a UISplitViewController. The Master controller shows a list of all the locations and the DetailController shows the map with the selected location.
While changing between locations, the map animates between them.
To create complete app, you have to modify the app to use your API’s or databases. This is not included.
With my back ground as a professional photographer, I was pretty familiar with Photoshop. I searched on ways to create my own graphics or retrofit my own graphics. The result was disappointing, and quite frankly ugly, and unprofessional looking.
Then I found App Design Vault. I was immediately impressed with the designs and coding examples that I purchased a template and began to incorporate into my design the same day.
The template took all the worry out of the GUI so I could now concentrate on coding. I easily saved a ton of money and hours on doing the graphic design myself. I highly recommend Tope and his work, and spread the word whenever I can. My app design has greatly benefitted from his work, and myCycleClass has turned out better then I originally dreamed it would. Thanks Tope.
Mapper was a great starting point for what I needed and with the supplied photoshop files allowed me to get access to all the underlying designs I needed and customise them to my hearts content (and Photoshop abilities).
I have been very impressed with the correspondence I have received from Tope and you can certainly see that Tope is generally enthused by how his designs end up being used, and is not just a design shop churning out designs with little though to consideration as how they are eventually used.
My preference goes onto this template as I think location based apps are the most interesting use case for mobile apps. I’m building one myself now, so this would be great
Good to know there are people doing location based apps… SO my guess was not far off. Thanks Giuseppe

I like Mapper and think it should be the next release, since you do not have a location type theme in your selection.
I really like the blue textured navigation bar, it sdds a touch of class. info@colorsandchrome.com
Thanks, Anthony. I’m loving the textured navigation too.

although the screen titles feel a bit empty on this one, I gotta admit it’s something I would need much sooner than the business theme, so it gets my vote
Yes, it would be nice to get more text in the title bars… Good tip. Thanks

This app design looks amazing, yet again very nice job with the design. i’m working on a fee app for bike commuters that could use this sexy look.

The full map view and the table view are super awesome.
The blue leather look is interesting. Interesting in that you’ve combined the skeuomorphism of leather with the iOS native feel of blue everywhere to create a look that matches neither, but really pops out and looks great.
I definitively want this theme to come out first ! Like always the design is outstanding. The blue leather texture gives a very nice touch. For now, you are not selling a theme for navigation based apps, this theme would fit nicely in your products !
How it can be useful ? Well first of all the leather texture would extend through all the application, and the custom table view cells are also very good to extend !
I think this is the theme that should come out first! Would love to see how you implemented the (from what I know it as) the table view header on top of everything. So yeah my vote is cast! This one, definitely!

I would like to know where to find resources to make those modifications?
I’m intending to modify it to give directions to drivers who need to find the next locksmith on the road.

Yes, you can

Hey. I want to purchase this template, but i am afraid that it won’t work with iOS 6, when it comes out? Can you confirm or deny that? I mean.. Apple has announced the new Maps app for iOS, so will this template work with that?
tope says:
Yes, it may not be compatible. It currently uses Google Maps. We will update it when iOS 6 is released.
Freddy says:
Hy Tope, I would like to buy this template, but I’m afraid that it won’t be compatible with IOS6 and the new apple Maps app.
Do you have any news about?
Also I would like to understand if the map service is already implemented or if it is just a pure graphical template.
Thanks in advance
tope says:
The Map service is only implemented superficially. It shows the location of a place(hard-coded coordinates) when you tap on the item in the list.
It is not currently compatible with iOS 6 as it is not released yet, we will update it when it does get released.
Thanks

I’m thinking of buying this template but i have a few questions as I’m still a newbie to xcode and so on.
Your template:
- How or where do i link the app into API’s or a database, i need to make this app link into finding my local business i work for, so i will need it to pic up all the branches local etc.
- How many tabs are there on the iPhone and iPad version, i.e linking to other pages and do they link to other pages? if so is it easy to add text and photo content as am unsure how
Cheers
tope says:
Hi Steve,
You get access to the full sample code so you can link to an API or database fairly easily. Also there are four tabs on the iPhone….
I must warn you that you need to be able to code in Objective-C to be able to get the most out of the template. Or you can give it to someone you hire to integrate the template into your app.
Steve says:
Tope,
Thank you, the sample you created have you had it activily working on your iPhone? i mean witth the sample ATM code?
Would you be willing to help me?
