What license are the themes released under? What can I or cannot do with them

I’m not going to bore you with tons of paperwork. Here is a quick-run down of what you can do with the themes.

  • You can use the themes in an unlimited number of your apps or client’s apps.
  • You cannot re-sell the themes.

Simple, isn’t it? OK, there is one catch, I always like to admire apps that have been designed with the themes, so please send me a link to the app once its live.

I might just link to it on the site (maybe getting it more exposure).

Are the themes fully functioning apps?

No, I am trying to make the themes about design.

I wish I could implement all the functionality in them. It would be fun but then it would take me months to release themes.

Everybody’s app is different so there would be 100s of custom requests to tweak this and that. The idea is to save you time and money in making your app look good so you can focus on developing code.

If you are not a developer, hire one and give them the themes to work with. They will thank you for it… (and probably charge you less, as well).

Is there a Sample App available?

Yes, check out the tutorials here. You will see a series of videos on how one of the themes was designed and you will also get the opportunity to download a pared-down version of the theme for free.

We have a lifetime guarantee policy which means there is no time limit on when you can ask for your money back.

You can purchase a theme to try it out, make millions with your app and still come back 4 years later to ask for your money-back. Crazy right? No, that is how much I trust the product.

Is it worth it to get any of the themes?

Here is a rough but amazingly accurate calculation of how much time and money you will be saving with these themes.

  • It would cost you at least $1000 to get a designer to design any of our themes.
  • It would cost you at least 1 hour to slice the artwork exactly how you want it.
  • It would cost you at least 2 hours to implement the artwork in your app.

That is $1000 + 3 hours saved. Getting one theme at circa $70 is an amazing steal.

What is included in the product?

  • An Xcode sample project to show you how each theme is designed.
  • Design artwork as sliced PNG files
  • Retina (@2x) and Standard resolution PNG files
  • A Photoshop PSD file

What version of XCode or iOS are the XCode sample projects

iOS 5 and XCode 4.2.
All the themes are coded using the iOS 5 appearance SDK
All themes apart from Photopad use Storyboards and ARC

Are the images included in Retina resolution?

Yes, both Retina (@2x) and standard resolutions are available. We’ve got you covered, especially for your users who are still using iPhone 3G models (who does that , by the way?) … “writer hides phone”.

What version of Photoshop?

Photoshop CS5

What is your guarantee policy?

We have a lifetime guarantee policy which means there is no time limit on when you can ask for your money back.

You can purchase a theme to try it out, make millions with your app and still come back 4 years later to ask for your money-back. Crazy right? No, that is how much I trust the product.

Do you have iPad Themes.

We are currently upgrading all themes to be Universal apps that support both iPhone and iPad. Check out the screenshots on the product page. If it doesn’t have iPad screenshots, it ain’t got it :-)

Do the themes have app icons

We are planning to release some app icons in the future, some of the themes have sample icons. Check out the screenshots on the product page. If the screenshots don’t have icons, it ain’t got it…

Do the iPhone Themes work in Landscape mode

Bummer, no they don’t. It is on our list of to-do’s!

How To get started

First of all, you are going to have to buy a template from the Gallery

Depending on your requirements, the best place to start is with the sample project to see how the theme works together in code.

Then you will have to think about the requirements of your app and make a note of what needs to be tweaked and what can be re-used.

You can then make a new project or add the artwork (slices) folder to your existing project and start designing away.

If you get to a point where the slices (artwork) needs to be tweaked, this is where the Photoshop files come in.

You can open the Photoshop file and create your custom graphics.

      Hi Shrahram,

Sure, we update the templates anytime we find a bug, anytime iOS changes, right now we are working on iPad retina upgrades and all clients get free upgrades. Cool huh? That’s how we roll :-)

1- How bout customizing your design themes further?? I see you have color options in some cases, but not what I’d want.
2- How bout customizing the ap’s (adding additional pages, building on what you’ve got started in the ap)?
3- You say that you can’t resell…. so, that means, these themes are licensed for my own personal projects but not for clients? Please clarify~

    Nice work! :)
    Thanks~
